Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is the most scientifically proven and well-researched mindfulness training program. The course was created by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and designed to help participants discover and harness their innate ability to cultivate good health and resilience in the face of adversities. The 8-week program has been proven to exert a significant difference to your health, mental balance and happiness. It is the gold standard in mindfulness programs and is intended to strengthen and realise the mind-body relationship for a healthier lifestyle free of stress.
The course includes
Orientation Session
8 sessions held once a week
(2.5 hours each)
An all day Silent Retreat
(6 hours)
Supportive handouts and recorded guided meditations
Maximum class size of 8
Ongoing support to facilitate your continued practice
The MBSR program being offered adheres to the gold standard set by Jon Kabat-Zinn and is facilitated the way it was intended to be. The MBSR program is for all those who are generally well and are looking for effective and positive ways to manage their stress. It is a complement and not a replacement to any treatment you may be receiving from mental health professionals.
